Ligeia interview

Todd Cardini of HeavyMetalSource.com conducted an interview with Keith Holuk (vocals) and Ryan Ober(guitar) of the Massachusetts-based band LIGEIA at this year’s New England Metal and Hardcore Festival, which took place last weekend at the Palladium in Worcester, Massachusetts. 

LIGEIA has begun work on its sophomore full-length album, “Bad News”, with producer Ken Susi (UNEARTH). A summer release via Ferret Music is expected. Formed in 2004, LIGEIA features Keith Holuk (vocals),Ryan Ober (guitar), Brandon Whipple (bass) and Nick Neumeister (drums). The band’s sound integrates post-hardcore melodies and metal grit. 

LIGEIA has toured with such artists as HASTE THE DAY,SCARY KIDS SCARING KIDS, MISERY SIGNALS, SINCE BY MAN, SCARLET, DEAD TO FALL, FROM A SECOND STORY WINDOW and AUGUST BURNS RED.
