–The Number Twelve Looks Like You have officially decided to call it a day and will play their final show together at the School Of Rock East in South Hackensack, NJ on January 29th, 2010.
–Children Of Bodom plan to begin working on their new album early next year with intentions to begin recording it early in the summer.
–Light This City’s posthumous reissue of their 2003 debut outing “The Hero Cycle” has now been set for a January 19th release date on Prosthetic Records.
–ThePRP.com has posted that Trivium have parted ways with drummer Travis Smith. LOOK here.
–Knock ‘Em Dead will release their new album “Endless Struggle” on February 02nd through Eulogy Recordings. The album was produced by Will Putney (Suicide Silence, The Banner.
–Soulfly/Cavalera Conspiracy guitarist Marc Rizzo will release his new solo album “Legionaire” through Phlamencore Records on 1/05/10.
–Whitechapel plan to enter the studio in two weeks to begin recording their next album. The band reveiled to us on Mayhem festival they are recording with Jason Suecof (Trivium,God Forbid, Black Dahlia Murder)of Audiohammer studios in Sanford FL.
–Sonisphere has revealed that METALLICA, SLAYER, MEGADETH and ANTHRAX will play together for the first time in history. They will play Sonisphere Festival in Warsaw Poland on June 16, 2010.
–Hardcore/metal crossover pioneers D.R.I. (DIRTY ROTTEN IMBECILES) have been confirmed for next year’s Maryland Deathfest, set to take place May 28-30,2010 at Sonar in Baltimore, MD.
