News

– Shadows Fall will be headlining a tour of Canada for the first time. The tour begin’s on February 24 in Calgary, Alberta with support from Bison B.C. and Baptized in Blood. For more information, read this post on bands Myspace page HERE.

– Indie Recordings has announced the signing of Norwegian metal band 1349. This spring 1349 will return with their fifth full length album. For more information, read this post on the bands Myspace page HERE.

– Skeletonwitch have reissued their previously out of print “Worship The Witch” EP through Prosthetic Records on a variety of differently colored 10? vinyl. You can order that here.

– Light This City will be reuniting for four shows in California this April, no dates have been announced as of yet. For more information, visit the bands Myspace page HERE.

– Indiana black metal band Ptahil have started writing a new album tentatively titled Codex Lucifer. The new release will be out late 2010 or early 2011.

– Trivium will start tracking drums tomorrow for the new song “Shattering The Skies Above”, to be on the digital extended play (EP) soundtrack for the highly anticipated PS3 exclusive videogame “God of War III”. The EP, titled “God of War  Blood & Metal”, will be released in March on Roadrunner Records as a part of the “God of War III Ultimate Edition”. The recording of the song is also the  debut of drummer Nick Augusto, a former drum tech for the band. No announcement from the band has been made on the drummer situation.

– Crime In Stereo posted the song “Drugwolf” off the new album “ I Was Trying to Describe You to Someone”, on the bands Myspace page HERE. Look for the album on February 23.

– Eulogy Recordings signed New York’s The Smashup. Their debut album titled “The Sea And The Serpents Beneath” is all set for a March 16th release. A new song “Weigh The Anchored Cross” has been posted on the band’s Myspace page HERE.
