Ozzy Osbourne and The Not So Real Farewell of The Prince of Heavy Metal

Heavy Metal Source finds out: The famous singer is not retiring anytime soon. At 68 years old, he will continue to go on stage after his last show, on February 4, with the Black Sabbath band that made him famous. He is also getting ready to release a solo album

 

Soon, you will be able to see Black Sabbath back up on stage. The sponsors of the Heavy Metal singer will deliver their guitar in their holsters after their last concert on February 4 at Genting Arena in Birmingham. Owning to the lyrics ‘you never say die,’ the singer will continue to go on stage. Tireless, Ozzy Osbourne has a few plans in sight. The legendary singer will resume his presence on the scene, but this time in the United States headlining alongside bands like Slayer or Kiss. For the moment the artist has concerts planned in America, and he is working on other projects: a new solo album which has a release date that is still unknown. He is currently in the recording studio, alongside Billy Idol group members.

 

A piece already ready

Because the bat-eating singer has still some reservations. “I’m not going to retire; I will continue. Currently, I work with Billy Morrison [singer] and Steve Stevens [guitarist]. He won’t be part of my next group. He remains as part of Billy Idol, but I wanted to work with him, and we have something called Crack Cocaine”, he says during an interview at Sirius XM. However, the singer does not exclude Black Sabbath for a later date, next year, on the occasion of their 50 years.
