THE HIGH CONFESSIONS POST NEW SONG.
The High Confessions have posted the new song, Chlorine And Crystal, on the bands Myspace page. The song is off the bands new album “Turning Lead Into Gold With The High Confessions“, which will be released on July 20th release via Relapse Records.

The Acacia Strain have posted the band’s third studio video blog online and it can be viewed below. The group recently began recording the new album with producer Chris “Zeuss” Harris at Planet Z Studios, which will be released later this year via Prosthetic Records.

BLACK LABEL SOCIETY NEW ALBUM DETAILS
Black Label Society have announced the title of the band’s eighth studio album to be, “Order Of The Black”. The new album is set to be released on August 10th in North America via E1 Music, and in Europe via Roadrunner Records.

ICARUS WITCH RELEASE METAL VERSION OF PITTSBURGH PENGUINS THEME SONG.
Icarus Witch recorded and released their tribute to the hometown heroes and Stanley Cup Champions, The Pittsburgh Penguins. The band cut a slightly more metallized version of “The Boys Of Winter” AKA, the song that they play in the arena to get the fans frenzied before the Pens skate onto the ice at the beginning of game.
The band stated: ”We’re pretty passionate about our teams in this city, especially the Pens. We were thinking of using their theme song as intro music for an upcoming show but were surprised to find it’s quite difficult to track down as a download. So we just said, ‘Why not record our own version?’ Fortunately our producer, Eric Klinger had a space in his recording schedule and the whole project went from concept to arrangement to production in the span of 2 days. Now, less than a week later thanks to Cleopatra Records, our tribute is available for download on iTunes, Amazon and similar sites! We kept it faithful enough to the original so any non-metal Penguins fans will enjoy it, but just heavy enough so any non-penguin fan metal heads will also dig it as a mini-epic instrumental.”

KITTIE NEW BEHIND THE SCENES FOOTAGE.
Kittie filmed a new music video for the song “Die My Darling” on May 4, 2010 and some behind the scenes footage from the video shoot can be viewed below. The video was shot by Canadian director John Barber.“Die My Darling”is off Kittie’s latest album, “In The Black”, which was released on September 15, 2009 via E1 music.
